Where is narconon nepal

A few years later, this beautiful center designed specifically for the purpose of rehabilitation was constructed about an hour away in the mountains.

Now, those in recovery can enjoy the peace, fresh mountain air and a stunning view of the Himalayas. This is a place where a person can repair the harm done to his or her spirit, emotions or life and where the skills that will be needed to make drug-free decisions can be learned. At Narconon Nepal, those in recovery are not prescribed more drugs.

Instead, they are taught how to enjoy the freedom of a drug-free life. They also learn the value of contributing to their families and their communities once again. This repair is not completed overnight. It takes several weeks of focused work by the person in recovery and continuous guidance by Narconon staff to get this result. On a mountaintop overlooking the tallest mountains in the world, Narconon Nepal is set in an environment like no other.

Each person coming to this center for recovery finds himself in a safe, clean and protected space at last. Finally, he has the support he needs and a time-tested program that can help him walk all the way back to lasting sobriety. Secluded withdrawal spaces provide needed comfort and structure in this difficult time.

Narconon staff are there to assist students 24 hours a day to help ease the discomfort of coming off drugs. The terrace provides resident students with a panoramic vista of the surrounding Himalayan foothills. Our guest rooms provide the rest that is an essential part of the program. Nutritious dining helps speed recovery and repair. We provide a peaceful, stress-free environment with every element aligned to your success on the program.

But now, this long-term residential program has graduated hundreds of sober Nepalese. More than , people have so far been educated about the dangers of drug use. This center also serves to train others from South Asia who wish to establish Narconon centers in their countries.

Narconon Nepal was founded by Basanta Kunwar, a former Senior Superintendent of Police in Kathmandu, who realized the strong connection between drug use and crime and decided to find an effective way to help. When he found the Narconon program, he knew he had found his solution. With the help of his wife and his staff, many lives are being saved in Nepal.
