Roaring Blaze : Conflagrate applies a debuff to your target that increases your Immolate , Incinerate and Conflagrate damage on that target for 8 seconds. Grimoire of Sacrifice : Sacrifice your demon pet, gaining its command demon ability and causing your spells to sometimes deals additional shadow damage. Most of the time Roaring Blaze will be more single or two target oriented and Rain of Chaos is better for heavy cleave and AoE.
Channel Demonfire : A channeled spell that shoots out 15 Firebolt 's at targets affected by Immolate within 40 yards. This damage will splash to nearby targets for a portion of the damage.
Conclusion: All of these talents have their use. Soul Conduit is very strong when combined with Rain of Chaos. Channel Demonfire is a powerful spell for single and stacked AOE. Dark Soul: Instability grants you another cooldown and more on-demand burst you can play around. Comments Comment by Wren Every single talent is just "meh" to me, and its seems like all the burst comes from being a minute CD wonder. Not that burst was ever destro's strong point in legion, but the two target cleave was nerfed pretty hard as well.
Comment by KillerMoyashi13 I'm confused because destro locks do not currently appear to have Entrenched in Flame. Frost DK and BM hunter somehow seem to be doing worse than us. Of note…for a while, I used the leggo that increased single target damage to the target marked with Havoc.
However, everyone is swearing this Infernal CD leggo is better, so I jumped on that train for now. I think I logged out in raid stuff. I can reach 4. I simmed myself with affliction and it does slightly less dps like or so. I went Necrolord for the green aesthetic and green fire for destro. However it just feels like every other cov minus Ven just does more dps than me in both destro or afflic. I am not a fan of the infernal leggo personally. I love Cinders, especially this last week and this week where u just need that burst to kill Explosives or peg a Spiteful while going to the next mob to build shards.
Yeah… Im thinking about calling it this expansion. I switched to Affliction after I was constantly told Destro was bad and my numbers started to get worse and worse with everyone gearing up. So I swapped to Affliction. Got a new Legendary at , but jeez man.
Demon Hunter as both specs is perfectly fine atm. In any given situation I was top in damage both as a Havoc and a Vengeance lol in dungeons, I have little to no problems soloing rares as Vengeance. In Torghast both Havoc and Vengeance get fun and interesting anima powers to play around with and its very enjoyable!! It has a higher skill floor but mostly it just feels like a chore managing your DOTs. The only one doing worse are arcane mages.
Affliction is top, yet most difficult to grasp and some find it boring but the damage is really good if you learn it well. Destruction is somewhere on the lower half of the DPS rankings. Far easier to play, and I personally find it way more fun.
